I wanted the website to feel more dynamic and encourage visitors to explore beyond the homepage. I incorporated stronger imagery, clearer content hierarchy and more purposeful navigation to highlight chapter life, recruitment, leadership, philanthropy and the experiences that make Beta Upsilon unique.
Warm
Because the website may be one of someone’s first introductions to our chapter, I wanted it to feel welcoming and personal. I prioritized candid photography, approachable copy and a softer visual style to better communicate the friendship, community and sense of belonging at the heart of Beta Upsilon.
Modern
I updated the website’s visual structure to create a cleaner, more modern experience that better reflects Alpha Delta Pi’s current brand. I refreshed the layout, typography, imagery and organization of content to make each page feel more intentional and visually consistent.

What began as a project to update outdated information became a complete website redesign. After reviewing the existing site, I saw an opportunity to create a digital presence that better represented Beta Upsilon today. I took the initiative to rethink the website’s visual identity and user experience, focusing on three goals throughout the redesign: making it modern, engaging and warm.

This Website!
I created this portfolio to bring together the projects and experiences I have developed over the past few years in one cohesive, easy-to-navigate space. I wanted the website to feel personal rather than generic, so I built the visual identity around colors that are meaningful to me, including navy, my favorite color, and Carolina blue to reflect my connection to UNC. I also selected distinctive typography to give the site more personality while maintaining a clean and professional feel. Ultimately, the goal was to create a platform that represents both my work and my personal brand while making it easy for others to explore what I have created.
